GLOWS' most important activities occur on-the-ground in local communities around the world, implementing integrated solutions to water resource management problems. GLOWS field projects foster sustainability through the development and implementation of integrated technical, economic, organizational, and political approaches to IWRM at the river basin scale. Field activities are conducted across a range of scales and rely on coordination by staff in the local offices of WWF, World Vision, and other local partners.
