Student Opportunities within GLOWS

Students on PalcazuEducation and capacity building are fundamental goals of the GLOWS Program. We support environmental education programs in schools from the areas where we work, and we also encourage graduate students to develop thesis and dissertation projects in collaboration with GLOWS project activities.

GLOWS offers eligible candidates the opportunity of pursuing MS, MA, or PhD degrees at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, USA. Students may select from a large number of degree programs that are relevant to Integrated Water Resources Management. Basic training in these relevant disciplines is integrated with a certificate program in Water, Environment, and Development to give students the specialized training needed to become water resource professionals.

We especially seek students from the regions where we work, who also meet the qualifications necessary for study in the USA and at FIU. For additional information please contact Dr. Elizabeth Anderson [email]. For general information about graduate studies at FIU, visit the University Graduate School >> Website.
